Tiny Tots class: 3 -4 years -
Our kindy class is high energy, lots of fun, and wiggles aplenty! The girls move and dance to nursery rhyme style songs, as well as receive an introduction to physie through focus on posture, pointed feet and basic physie positions. The class is very relaxed, super fun and the choreography age appropriate for the young girls. (For students who turn 4 years old by June 30th) |
Junior classes: 5 years – 12 years
The APDA syllabus is introduced from 5 years. The syllabus is age appropriate and focuses on posture and the technique of dance, with new moves learnt each lesson. By halfway through the year, the girls will know six different routines, ranging from aerobic warm up, to basic ballet and jazz dance. The amazing variety of routines keeps the girls enthusiastic and entertained all year long. |
Senior class: 13 years - 25yrs+
This class cater for girls from the age of 13 years. Girls can be beginners or experienced. Modern dance styles such as contemporary and hip hop are performed, along with the core physie routines of warm up, jazz and exercise. |
Ladies class: 18 – 60+ years
Our super fun and social ladies class is very popular! Whether you have done physie before, are returning after many years break, or are brand new – this is a fabulous class. Core physie routines are all performed, and the variety of disciplines will tone and shape your body. A great class for ex-dancers and mums wanting a social exercise class |

Stretch & Technique class
Extra classes throughout the year designed for students to improve their flexibility, strength and technique, these classes are highly recommended for girls in order to progress their skills and abilities for the sport. Core strength exercises are also taught, which assist with physie posture and performance. |
At Greystanes we have many girls who compete at an elite level and have achieved National Place status. We also have many girls who love physie but are not interested in taking part in any of the competitions. We aim to encourage all girls to love physie and dance and reach their goals.
Girls and ladies may attend one or two classes per week based upon their own desire. Most competitive girls come to at least two classes per week.
